Charity Soccer Tournament Copa del Rave Returns to Los Angeles
Music industry teams will battle for supremacy on the pitch
Copa del Rave, the self-styled “loudest tournament in world soccer,” returns to Evolve Soccer Los Angeles on October 9.
Play the whistle:
Eight music industry teams will compete for the trophy: Beatport, CAA, Capitol Records, Circa, INFAMOUS, Red Light Management, Symphonic Distribution and Stratasonic.
Players include Chris Lorenzo, TEED, Apple Music’s Luchero, Ocho On The Beat and Nikita the Wicked.
The tournament will be soundtracked by DJs including Bolo, Karaba, Life In Planets, Thee Mike B and Soraya, and there will be “secret sets and surprise appearances.”
Grammy-nominated Kah-lo will lead the half-time performance.
Copa del Rave is presented by adidas.
Win-Loss record:
Last year’s winner was Red Light Management.
The five previous installments have raised over $60,000 in charity donations, with each team required to donate and the winning team picking the charity that will receive this year’s money.
Members of the public can attend. RSVP here.
